Abstract

Foreign language proficiency plays a significant role in professional development, providing individuals with wider career opportunities in the international labor market. It also promotes cultural awareness and mutual understanding among people from various backgrounds. In addition, learning foreign languages positively influences the academic environment by improving cognitive abilities, critical thinking, and communication skills. Moreover, learning foreign languages has become much easier thanks to modern online platforms, like Duolingo, Preply, and ChatGPT, giving students the opportunity to study anytime and anywhere. This article examines the key benefits of learning foreign languages by using AI platforms, their significance in career opportunities, cultural exchange, cognitive development, and the academic sphere.
