Abstract

Today tourism is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world and it has a strong influence on global development. People travel more than before, and this creates important changes in economic, cultural and environmental areas. Tourism brings many benefits such as job creation, development of infrastructure and stronger international connections between countries. It also helps people learn about different cultures and traditions. However, tourism also has negative effects. It can cause environmental pollution, overuse of natural resources and damage to ecosystems. In addition, it may change local cultures and create social inequality in some regions. This paper discusses both positive and negative impacts of tourism and explains why sustainable tourism is necessary. It also highlights the importance of responsible travel and proper management of tourism in order to reduce its negative effects and support long-term development.
