INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS IN THE TOURISM INDUSTRY
Abstract
Communication plays a vital role in all areas of social life and is a key element in the development and transmission of culture. In today’s globalized world, issues such as cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue receive significant attention. Cultural differences are considered one of the central topics in the field of intercultural communication studies. Tourism is also closely connected to communication, and it is one of the biggest industries around the world. Understanding the intercultural communication plays a crucial role to improve the tourism industry and quality of serving foreign people when it comes to develop it. This study examines the main problems of tourism industry in terms of communicative way and suggest valid solutions which are already taken into action in developed countries.
