ADAPTING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS: FOREIGN EXPERIENCE AND THE CONTEXT OF UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of adapting educational materials for students with visual impairments within the framework of inclusive education. The study explores contemporary international practices, methodological approaches, and technological tools used to ensure equal access to education for visually impaired learners. Particular attention is given to the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiated instruction, and assistive technologies such as screen readers and audio-based resources.
