THE ROLE OF LINGUOCOGNITOLOGY AND EMOTIOLOGY IN MODERN LINGUISTICS
Abstract
This article examines the role of linguocognitology and emotiology as key направления in modern linguistics within the framework of the anthropocentric paradigm. It highlights the shift from structural approaches to the study of language as a cognitive and emotional system reflecting human thought and experience. Linguocognitology is analyzed as a field that investigates the relationship between language and cognition, including processes of conceptualization, categorization, and metaphorical modeling. Emotiology, in turn, is explored as a discipline that studies the ling uistic expression of emotions and the functional-semantic category of emotiveness. The paper emphasizes the integrative nature of these approaches, demonstrating how emotional and cognitive aspects of language interact in communication.
