PORTFOLIO IN ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CONTEXT
Abstract
This article examines the role and significance of portfolios in the context of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education. The study highlights portfolios as an effective pedagogical and assessment tool that enables the systematic collection and evaluation of students’ academic achievements, learning progress, and language development over time. Special attention is given to both traditional and digital portfolios, including e-portfolios, blogs, and multimedia-based learning archives, which provide students with opportunities for reflection, self-assessment, and active participation in the learning process.
