SOCIETY AND INDIVIDUAL CONFLICT: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS BASED ON THE WORKS OF GEORGE ORWELL AND SAID AHMAD
Abstract
This research explores the complex relationship between the individual and society through an ideological perspective, concentrating on motivational themes in the works of Said Ahmad and George Orwell. The study explores how ethical, cultural, and political factors influence behavior, emphasizing the interplay between external societal influences and internal psychological motivations in shaping decisions and actions. Ahmad's stories highlight moral duty, cultural identity, and societal conformity, exposing the intricate ways collective standards influence personal decisions. Conversely, Orwell’s writings examine the explicit enforcement of political power and structural control, demonstrating how external authority limits individual freedom and influences motivational interactions.
