AI AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF CULTURE AND LANGUAGE: A SOCIO-COGNITIVE AND DISCOURSE-PRAGMATIC PERSPECTIVE
Abstract
The present study offers a socio-cognitive and discourse-pragmatic analysis of AImediated communication in the digital narratives and intercultural discourse setting. The research combines theoretical analysis and empirical comparison of discourse, both human and AI, crosscultural (Uzbek and English) patterns of communication, and excerpts from detective fiction. The results illustrate that AI-mediated communication is characterized by structural explicitness, inferential shallowness, and cultural generalization.
