THE EFFECTIVENESS OF COMMUNICATIVE GRAMMAR TASKS FOR ENHANCING GRAMMATICAL ACCURACY AND FLUENCY IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO 10TH–11TH GRADE STUDENTS
Abstract
The present research investigates the impact of Communicative Grammar Tasks (CGTs) on the linguistic development of 10th and 11th-grade students. While traditional methods often prioritize the mechanical mastery of rules, this study focuses on how task-based communicative activities can simultaneously improve grammatical accuracy and fluency. The thesis examines various interactive techniques—such as role-plays, information-gap activities, and problem-solving discussions—to determine their efficacy. Furthermore, it explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to provide personalized feedback and digital scaffolding, ensuring a more efficient learning process. The findings suggest that when grammar is taught within a meaningful context supported by modern technology, students demonstrate a higher ability to use correct forms spontaneously during oral communication.
