INTEGRATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING: OPPORTUNITIES AND PROSPECTS FOR UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed various fields worldwide, including education. For Uzbekistan, where mastery of foreign languages, especially English, has become a strategic priority, AI provides substantial opportunities to modernize teaching methods, improve learning outcomes, and expand access to quality education. This paper explores the integration of AI into foreign language instruction in Uzbekistan, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and future potential. The study emphasizes practical applications such as intelligent tutoring systems, automated assessment tools, data-driven personalization, and immersive technologies. Recommendations are offered to support policymakers, educators, and institutions in effectively utilizing AI-based solutions for language education.
