Digital Transformation in Education: AI-based Personalized Learning and the Development of Thinking
Abstract
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education is reshaping traditional pedagogical
practices by enabling personalized learning and fostering critical thinking. This study explores
how AI-based adaptive learning systems support individual learning trajectories, enhance
cognitive engagement, and stimulate reflective and creative thinking skills. Drawing on the works
of Luckin et al. (2018), Coeckelbergh (2020), and Bostrom (2017), the paper analyzes both
theoretical frameworks and practical applications of AI-driven education. The findings suggest
that AI augments human intelligence rather than replacing teachers, promoting a more flexible,
data-driven, and intellectually stimulating learning environment.
